Are there any rescue groups that tranport animals from the south to WI?

I see rescue groups who transport dogs from the south to places from Ohio to New York to New England. This seems stupid to me because those places already have a large homeless dog population. Where I live in WI, for 25 years, I have NEVER seen a homeless dog, only dogs who escape from their owners, who are frantic to get them back. We don't have pet stores that sell dogs. Almost all of our shelters are low or no kill for dogs because they aren't overpopulated. I don't know of any transport rescue groups that come here so I want to get the word out to them that this is an ideal spot. So if anybody knows that name of groups that transport across country, I'd appreciate if they told me those names so maybe I could get the idea of WI in their heads.

I need to move where you are, haha.

There's a great rescue I work with in TX that ships their dogs out almost anywhere in the U.S. They are very crowded due to the horrible overpopulation down south. I got my two boys from there, and from what I understand they have two sisters of theirs that are still available.

Go talk to your local rescues. There are tons in Wisconsin. As far as I know most transport groups are a part of whatever specific rescue they work with and are volunteers. If they don't transport from high kill areas there is a reason for it, probably either legislative, or a matter of no funds and not enough man power.
