Those are ALT codes. holding alt+205 then let go of alt will produce ═ as opposed to the = sign. Alt+2 ☻ and alt+3 ♥. Just get creative with the codes listed here. More codes top right of page. http://www.alt-codes.net/
EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention you need to use your number pad.
