What is hookah made of?
My friend recently started smoking hookah and drinking out of nowhere. I'm just curious as to what goes into hookah, because I hear it's not too hardcore, but I'm still concerned for her.

Somnium is wrong. People only smoke weed in a hookah if they want to spend hours cleaning it. Shisha is smoked in a hookah. Shisha is basically flavored tobacco. Of all the smoking products hookah is one of the healthiest. Of course it is illegal if you are under 18.

... A hookah is a device used for the same purpose as a bong or pipe; smoking marijuana (aka pot or weed, etc). Other things can be smoked from it, like tobacco (although I doubt that someone who owns a hookah/bong/pipe would be smoking strictly tobacco from it).
In America, if you're under 18, smoking tobacco is illegal. If you don't have a prescription, smoking marijuana is illegal for everyone (except in Alaska). If you are under 21, drinking alchohol is illegal.
A hookah is usually made of glass and some various other materials.
