Chiropractor business with brother?

My brother and I are thinking about going to chiropractic school. I already have my 4 year undergrad degree and my brother will be finished with his this year. We would love to open up our own business together and we think this is just the way to go. We both have many contacts throughout the community and I don't think we would have a problem with the business aspect of the job. The only concern I have is that I know its usually just one person who opens his/her own practice. If we did this together is it possible to make enough money to supplement 2 incomes? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I guess I forgot to mention...yes I am very interested in the chiropractic field as well as the business aspect. I find it very interesting and I believe in it as it has helped me through a few physical issues.

Chiropractors, like UK-trained osteopaths, are quacks.

Quite apart from the moral hazard of becoming a chiropractor, it's also a difficult business to establish. Many chiropractors graduates never pay off their very high student loans. Many chiropractors who do eke out a living are forced to sell phony medicines/devices or offer worthless "treatments" that have nothing to do with chiropractic.

Read what one chiropractor who sometimes visits this forum advises:
"My [chiropractic school] class of 58 in 2003 only 6 are still practicing cause that's how bad insurance has gotten. I still owe chiropractic school 100k i don't think i will ever be able to pay that back~ I don't care you you find someone doing great i will show you thousands for that everyone."

Consider, instead, being an ethical Physical Therapist (Physiotherapist).
