What would happen if US citizens are finally fed up and say we will pay nor more taxes for illegal aliens?
The Dallas Morning News reports that in 2009 11,071 babies of illegal mexicans were born in Parkland Hospital and 63,000 in Texas. We presently are having a maximum property tax increase to pay for illegals and their education. I am paying $1200 a months for insurance and trying to send a kid to college while illegals get a break on tuition. Why in the heck is this right?

You could only get away with that if you were the tax cheat himself Tim Gaitner of Obamas administation. Incidently Capone was bad rapped on the tax evasion and actually lived out his last days in Florida.

I was reading the New York Times this morning on line and came across this story.It was written I know for us to feel sorry for this poor illegal alien.What it did instead is prove to me that the Dream Act is totally unnecessary to illegal aliens.This illegal alien brought over by his parents,is in his third year of law school.It seems he didn't need the governments and taxpayers money to do it.So tell me why they are still pressing the Dream Act?

If we dont pay our taxes we are subject to have all our assets frozen,our businesses forfeited and our bank accounts levied and even go to jail for tax evasion.I think it just said that it costs $ 175,000.to send one of our own children to a private college here in the US.I am not going to help pay for someones child to go to college.I am taking care of my own..It is not my fault or my responsibility to provide for the offspring of illegal aliens.Their parents created this problem for them and they are the only ones that should be held accountable.No you not me,and not our taxes.They may not get Pell Grants but so what neither did I ,I worked while I was in college,I helped my parents pay for it.i got nothing for free because of my parents income.Send them back to their own country and let that government provide their Dream Act. Also the fact that the age limit goes to 35 is insane.That's not a child and if they haven't done something about trying to become legal by then,they would never have tried with out the Dream Act.
The Master is right- we can't control where our tax dollars are being used. Brian is also correct- you can refuse to pay taxes, but you'll get royally screwed by the IRS. We can't win. One day, we will finally get fed up and who knows what is going to happen.
One day, I looked at my phone bill to find an added tax to fund public schools. I don't have a school-age child, but one day I will. Why should I have to pay for the illegals' children to be educated? Here, the schools are laying off teachers, cutting art and music classes and extracurricular activities for the students because the state doesn't have enough money to fund them; however, they find the money to fund the ESL classes and to hire more bilingual teachers. That's bull!
Excellent Question. The property owners in the various districts and regions, need to attend city council meetings, County Commission meetings, And go after their State Legislators.
Offer up for discussion, Ways the property owner can opt out for having to pay for Illegals period. No Hospital Payments, No Medicade Payments. No Food Stamp Payments, No Pell grant Payments. You have that right to tell your governing body what to pay for. If the voice is loud enough and strong enough, Those wishes will be carried out.
the millions of illegal immigrants here are displacing the workers that USED to do those same low skilled jobs - Unemployment in the low skilled work sector is considerably higher than in the rest of the market, Those unemployed LEGAL residents are on welfare, food stamps, section 8 housing, unemployment and other social services at a much greater rate.
The fools that claim that the illegal immigrants can't collect welfare seem blind to the fact that illegal immigrants indirectly drive up the demands on social services and we all pay for that.
In State Tuition rates should only apply to legal residents of the state. Those special rates are supposed to apply because the family is contributing and paying taxes that support the operation of the school through their state payroll taxes. Residents of other states don't pay those taxes to the state and do not qualify. There is no sane reason to allow criminals to benefit from it. If they want their children to go to college they should pay the full rate and not get any special tuition treatment.

Hang on... If a baby is born in the U.S. then that baby is a Citizen. right? So what do we do, send the mother back to Mexico and keep the baby here? Who takes care of the kid? send them both back, then the child is an illegal alien in Mexico. Let the child starve because the mother isn't allowed to get a job? Don´t let the kid go to school... let them die when they get sick...
I don´t think it is right for them to use govenment assistance, but there has to be a better way. If the mother comes here illegally then she should be able to prove that she can care for the child. Within one year if she cannot show evidence of her supporting that child then the child along with its mother should be shipped back to Tiajuana. Government help should only be given to the child. Nothing should be provided for the illegal alien.
Remember that these aliens are people not garbage.
