American Cranberry never flowers or gets berries?

It's 7 years old and only gets leaves. I planted it for the birds so I'm disappointed in it.

I never pruned or fertilized it since it's a native shrub. Maybe it's like holly, and needs a boy/girl to produce?

Are you pruning it? If so, stop. Are you fertilizing it? If so, stop. If you neither prune nor fertilize, I have no idea what might be causing the lack of flowers.
