What is the status on the Dream Act?

I know about the Republican filibuster but I've recently heard about Congress repealing the "Don't ask don't tell" policy in the military. I was under the assumption that they were contained in the same bill.

the Dream Act is in the toilet where it belongs. there was a halt put to DADT on a seperate judicial hearing.

Currently dead, and this Obama voter agrees with the end of the Dream Act.

We should:

-send illegals home
-end the anchor baby interpretation
-heavily fine employers who hire illegals
-sue Sanctuary Cities

The only part of the Dream Act I would keep is the military. If an alien serves, honorably, in the military I would have no objection to fast-tracking his/her application for citizenship, once discharged.

DADT has been overturned by the courts and I would expect that to be upheld, except for the kangaroo court that sits in Washington. Depends on what RM Scarf tells them to do.

Dream act is dead and rightly so. Why reward criminals who came here illegally when people like my stepson have waited over 15 years for a visa. I have waited so long his kids have finished high school and started college. Want to have a real DREAM act, give my step son and those like him a visa already and either drive out or kill all illegals regardless of where they come from.

Dream act is a political ploy, it will never pass. Even democrats don't want it, it's just a ploy to get votes
