Why do we all sound the same when we sing?
Why do the British, Americans and Australians all have accents but when we sing we all sound the same?

Singing is stretching speech out. If every song was sung how bands like "The Dropkick Murpheys" sing, then you'd hear their accents. Of course, it's usually easier for people from other countries to do an American accent then it is for us to do theirs on average.
