Why do people not believe in aliens?
Let us think about this. The universe is massive and infinite. We have only seen the surface of a few planets, and if I'm right we have never sent a probe out of the Sol system. Isn't it naive to think we are the only ones in the universe? I hear people say its because Earth is the only inhabitable planet that we know of. But isn't it possible that beings from another planet do not require the same atmosphere that we do? I find it quite strange some people do not believe in Extra-Terrestrials. Opinions?
Mister Phobe, but isn't it possible that they might have more advanced technology? They might have reached their industrial period before us?
Dr. Nice Guy, I'm not necessarily talking about abduction theories and the like, I'm just talking about the people who just don't believe that any life exists on other planets. Oh and if I remember correctly, wasn't there bacteria or something similar found on Mars?
Forgive if I am misusing the term alien, let me clarify that I am talking about intelligent life/civilizations on other planets.
