Do you think my son's baby died because of negligence ?

Ok, here is what happened on October 14th. My son's girlfriend was 6 and 1/2 months pregnant. She started bleeding and he took her to the emergency room. They did not even look at her and she was in serious trouble. She was bleeding a lot.

The doctors there not even the nurses paid attention to her. they remained there 45 minutes. My son trying to tell the nurses at the desk that she was bleeding a lot.

Shouldn't they have taken priority in such an obvious case ?
My son finally took her to another hospital where they promptly tended to her. But the baby , by that time was already dying. He died in my opinion because they did not attend to his girl at the other hospital.

What do you guys think ?

@Serene, what do you mean by that ? Are you insinuating that I'm lying ? I am an honest person who has worked all his life and would not ever cry wolf about a thing like this. if you don't know about the law STFU!! I don't want your input.

I would be talking to a lawyer and ask them if the hospital could be held liable. I honestly do not know the answer.

However, I in no way would consider your son negligent or responsible! I am sorry for your loss.

I think you are wasting your time asking a bunch of 6th graders that will attempt to answer this question like they know what they are talking about.

Have his girlfriend contact a malpractice lawyer for the correct information and advice

it is easy to say its the hospitals fault. the hospital and the health care system is badly flawed
.
There is something seriously wrong that the staff will not pay attention, or wont pay attention
Usually there is someone called the "TRIAGE staff" usually a nurse or doctor who will check all patients to ensure that the most urgent cases get dealth first.

if the hospital didnt even have a member to do triage, then it is horribly understaffed or grossly non functional. and useless.
file a report. go to the news media and tell them to report your story in the news

Sounds like she may have had placental abruption and even if they delivered, the baby may have been too early to survive.

I think there's always more to the story that what's told.
