Simple answer here; "they want America to fail under Obama" They would rather cut their own nose off to spite Obama. It a shame that a million people kept their jobs and the taxpayers are getting their money back according to the Cons. Go figure.........

They are only working because they were given $50 Billion dollars and just generated a few more billion in revenue. I give it 3-5 years before the UAW has brought them back to bankruptcy again.

The US government also owns about 36% of GM still. GM will be doing well when the US Government no longer owns any of it stock. GM will be doing well when they stop producing 25 different types of SUVs and 25 different types of trucks.

I'd love to buy a GM vehicle if 1 they didn't take short cuts producing it and 2 it didn't lose half it's value in the first 3 years of ownership.

Go take a look at GM vehicles change the color of the interior? Well most of it well remain black minus a few parts here and there.

The last time i bought a vehicle i looked at Cadillac and didn't buy it because when you change the interior color to tan 3 parts of the dash the glove box and 2 other small pieces were died tan the rest remained black it looked cheap and like crap.

I'm looking at getting a new car in the next 6 months to a year. I've looked at Vettes and wont buy one because they lose value terribly fast and you guessed it. Want a tan interior? 75% of it will remain black!

The sole reason 0bama 'saved' GM was the unions had paid him off with donations. The money it cost to keep the unions 'alive' was paid for
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/05/big-donors-dominate-obama-advisory-board//print/ using billions of dollars of YOUR tax money.

I worked for an airline that had to do the tough things to stay alive, chapter 11 or whatever bankruptcy. Wasn't fun, but after going through the wringer, we came out stronger, leaner and lessons learned. GM won't have to bother with all that, so the unions can stay fat and happy and keep doing what they do best, supporting liberal democrat party agendas. So, while they're temporarily 'back', the problems were never really addressed, so in a few years we'll be doing this all over again.

Because the chance of GM failing again in five years is excellent to probably. The left will try to use this to express success in their failed bailout policies. The people who invested before the bailout lost everything and the new investors are very worried.
