I am currently reading the book Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I'm on page 102 and I'm still not into it at all! My friend told me it was amazing, but to me, it's not really special at all... yet. Should I keep reading? Will it get better? Thanks!

You know, I had a similar experience. I kept hearing good things about this book and decided to read it. But for me it was unoriginal and kind of boring. I think if you don't like it by page 100, there isn't anything in later pages that will change your mind.
I could make a long list of why this book underwhelmed me, but sometimes it is simply a matter of preference.Now everyone is excited about the sequel, but I'll definitely pass on that one.

im only about half way through (which is actually almost 200 pages or something, its s big book;) but i love it so far! the beginning was good i thought, nothing super special and catching though. It was definitely enjoyable and i was able to keep reading and now it just keeps getting better. one of my favorite things in a book is the suspense/mystery that's a little deeper in the plot, not right in your face. This book has plently of it. On the same note, i love *POSSIBLY A SPOILER BUT NOT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY* how neither of the characters knows everything about themselves. Its a nice change to be in the dark about some aspects of the story and having the characters in that same postition makes them very very relatebale.
