Windows 7 APPCRASH and APPHANG B1?

So, I am running Win7 and this is probably the 20th or so installation of Win7 since the thing came out. I have only ever had problems with the last 2 installations, where I am playing a game and the .exe will hang or occasionally crash. I don't know why. It only happens on games, thankfully. Does anyone know why this is happening, or have any directions to point me?

You need to visit the maker of the processor's website to get and install the correct chipset and video drivers first. "http://downloadcenter.intel.com ". "http://support.amd.com". get and install all of them that apply to your machine, then try to right click on the game executables and choose properties , then compatibility mode, set for what the game requires.
