Windows 7 APPCRASH. Please help......?

I just patched windows 7 with the new patches, and BF2 and one other game will not start at all now. They were working fine before, but after starting them they both instantly crash with the pasted information attached to the dialog box.

The other 2 games I have installed work perfectly, FSX is naming one.

I tried system restore, but to no avail.

Why wont they work? Please help. Dialog below:
