FTA Satellite Question?

I am interested in buying and setting up a FTA satellite system for my home, but I have two questions which need to be resolved before continuing:

1. For a motorized FTA satellite system, do I need more than 1 LNB, or is that only for stationary sattelite systems?

2. Do you need more than 1 satellite for each FTA receiver, or just one? (I am planning to buy 3 receivers.

Best answer will be used, thanks.

1. You only need one Universal LNB on a motorised system although you could have a dual or triple output LNB if you have three receivers.
2. You only need more than one receiver if you require more than one output or you have multiple dishes. E.g. in my setup I have two fixed dishes and two receivers although I could use one receiver with two LNB inputs (either as standard or using a DiSEeQ switch) there are times when I require both AV outputs for split screen display on the TV for football or F1 coverage.
