Why doesn't Chase Bank have any Christmas Decorations up?

I went in to a JP Morgan Chase bank today. There was not one Christmas decoration in it. It is December 14 and not even a piece of tinsel or garland is showing.

I felt like I was in Scroogeville.

The executives of Chase will not spend any money on anything that effects the bottom line. They are trained to say no, when it comes to spending money or refunding a fee. I know 1 person who withdrew over a quarter on a million dollars in accounts, due to a manager worried about his incentive bonus instead of doing what was right for the customer. There is no customer realationships with this bank anymore, so why put up decorations. Isn't that right Mr. Dimon?

Scroogeville is right. Anyone who used to have "free checking" with Washington Mutual is finding that their account is being "upgraded". (More like downgraded.)

It's possible that they have employees of many different faiths working there, so they don't want to over-emphasize Christmas.
