I was wondering if Kia is now owned by BMW company or BMW having a partnership with KIA??
my friend told me that KIA and now owned by BMW so KIA cars are looks better these days and I was just wondering if it was true.
so what are the relationship between BMW and KIA and if BMW don't own KIA then who does?

What your friend may have heard was that Kia's were newly designed by a German designer by the name of Peter Schreyer. He was working for Audi before he was hired by Kia.
Kia is owned by Hyundai.

Your friend has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Hyundai owns Kia. Hyundai earned (literally) like $30 trillion in 2009, BMW earned less than $100 billion.
