In Lebanon, do you have any special Christmas dinner and lunch menus?

Please I need some ideas...we will be having the usual stuffed chicken with rice and candied fruits but I need ideas for salads and apetizers and desserts.
Thank you...

As our seasons are the reverse to yours , we tend not to have hot meals on Christmas day . A couple favourite desserts here are pavlova which is a large , freshly made meringue with fresh fruit & cream or a trifle ...layers of sponge cake , cream , fruit , custard etc . Both are usually served with icecream !

I have good recipes for salads and sauces. I can mail you my recipe for my favorite salad.
It's a meal by itself, but it's yummy, Also can be served with the chickens, petit cochons or lambs
malfoof nayieh, cheese, corn,1 pineapple can (with the syrup), jam and Golf sauce (maionaise avec ketchup)
Even..what about apple pure to be served with the grilled chicken??

As appetizers..small meat ftay, I like the small slices of toasted thum bread, that way i can put different flavors of mayonnaise over them. (mayonnaise with ciboulettes, with zeituns, with red pepper, with tuna, any flavor you like) put each of that sauce in a diff small bowl, so each of your guests will serve by themselves and is less work for you.

About desserts..i dont know where you are living, but..what is better that a call to Hallab's and get some delicious ready sweets from them?
Or may be you have some exotic recipe from some other country, that you can try.
I hope this help

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Usually no. People just pay more at dinner, and are willing too. It is one of those things most people do not think about for some reason.
