Do you call it lunch & dinner, or lunch & supper?
We call it lunch & supper here in Iowa, when I married my husband from Chicago he called it lunch & dinner. But since I was the one cooking & calling everyone to eat he has changed his ways.

In the olden days, the midday day meal was usually the heartiest and called "dinner." Lighter, evening meals were called "supper." I think it's kind of a generational distinction nowadays.
