Any restaurants open on Christmas Day?
I'm looking for someplace to eat out on Christmas Day. Are there any chain restaurants open? I think Waffle House and Denny's is open, but I was looking for something else. Thanks!

Denny's and maybe some others in your local area look for the ad's I'd also say any hotels or resorts are open!

Luby's or Wyatt's cafeterias usually are open. I'd call some of the nicer hotel restaurants, they always have a great spread for the holidays even if you're not an overnight guest. I remember one year visiting an Aunt we went to some greek restaurant in Houston, Westheimer / 610 area & they had all the traditional entrees as well as a large selection of greek items, I had an almond fish, some stuffed grape leaves, and a feta salad. check the entertainment guide in the Chronicle today or next sunday, it should list everything !!!

I know hotels have their restaurants open for Christmas. A Hotel called the Northland Inn in MN has a beautiful Christmas dinner for $35 a plate. It's very popular to take families to these during Christmas so most need to have reservations. Start calling ones close to you, ask what dinners they are serving that night & the price per plate. Then set up a reservation :)
