I am the only one who uses it but anyway. I need help getting rid of it. I am trying to avoid a full wipe. its causing my computer to blue screen now and then and also making my computer run like crap. Can anyone suggest something or help me find it. Ive checked my programs and features .. nothing out of the ordinary.please help!

The blue screen only happens nwo and then, and im sure blue screens dont cause popups so thats not the issues.

Are you sure its a virus? A blue screen might also be a result of some hardware mismatch (just in case you changed some) or some downloaded windows updates or newly installed software.

Better take a picture of the blue screen when it comes, find the error code and look for it on the internet - you'll get the solution.

backup your files to dvd or external drive

reinstall your OS using your restore disc.
get a good antivirus software and keep the definitions updated.

be careful of what websites you visit.
get something like malwarebytes, spybot s&d or adaware and run it weekly.

dont use internet explorer. use firefox, opera, or safari or google chrome

Try super anti spyware (it may look like a joke, but it works)...

If that doesnt work, try the Kaspersky boot disc..

If that doesnt work, then wipe :(
