It sounds like a virus problem. If you don't have time to react on the computer before it shuts down, try starting the computer in safe mode. If the computer does the same thing, then I suggest formatting the hard drive and start from scratch.
If you format and it still does it, or does it while loading from the windows CD, then it is a heating error inside the computer and I would take it in to a professional.

It is possible it is a virus but it sounds more like an power issue to me. Is this a laptop or desktop PC? If it is a laptop then one of the comments about hibernation could be correct if your battery is too low. If it is a desktop then it most likely will not be a hibernation issue.
The PC can have many different issues that can cause this. Have you ran Windows update recently? I had a updated ethernet driver that was causing conflicts and my desktop would either not start or would not stay on and then power itself back off after a few minutes. I also had a Video card go out on me and the PC would not run. Have you had any issues with your monitor or video card lately?
First disconnect any peripheral devices from the PC (IE: Printer, USB devices, ETC.) then push the power button. When the PC start to boot continuously hit F8 and see if you can go into safe mode. If you can pick to go to last known good configuration. See if this helps.
If you still need any further help with issues you may need to reset your BIOS. To do this you will need to open up the computer case, and find the jumper for the BIOS (usually next to the battery or close proximity) Pull the 2 pin jumper from where it is, switch it onto the set of pins labeled for resetting BIOS, wait for a minute or so, then pull off of those pins and replace onto the same pins they were on in the first place. Hope this helps. If none does please ask another question with whatever stage you are at...

Sounds like you've opened an email with a virus attached. You should never open emails received from names you don't recognise as this is one way that viruses get transmitted.
You should always have security protection on your computer at all times.
For good, free and recommended security programs, please go here

I recommend AVG as an anti virus, and you should download it now and run a virus scan immediately.
If you need other programs, go for Zone Alarm firewall, AVG anti spyware (formerly Ewido) and SpywareBlaster.
If you click on the names in that list I gave you and it will take you to the official download site.
Please ensure that you keep them all updated for full protection and check for any updates when you first download them.

My first suspicion would be overheating as you stated that "computer shuts down keeps on decreasing every time i restart it". The computer is shutting down to preserve the life of your CPU (Central Processing Unit). Have you tried taking the side off the case and watching to see if the fan on top of the CPU is actually running? Try removing the heatsink and fan and blowing out all of the dust that has a tendency to accumulate in both parts.

Your PC is having a fatal error and is set for automatic restart.
When you first turn your PC on start tapping on f8 and pick safe mode. then go to control panel and click on system.,,,on this screen click the advanced tab....In the bottom field click settings...in the middle field uncheck automatic restart,...Now you will be able to find what your problem is.
