What makes the ticky-ticky noise when I use my turn signal?

It's a tiny piece of bone rattling inside your dashboard. Specifically, an ossicle. It was left there by the crash test dummies that make the roads a safer place.
It's flesh eating beetles waiting for their chance to attack you and eat your ears off. Everytime you use your turn signal they get a little closer to freedom and your sweet, sweet ear juices.
It's the timer that counts down to the cracked head block you'll get when your warranty runs out. They can't put it in the odometer, because that's where you'd expect to look for it.
