I have a xbox 360 slim with built in wi-fi. I don't know if i have a wireless connection. I have cox high speed internet. I dont have a laptop. I dont have a router i only have a Motorola surfboard modem. PLEASE HELP!!!!! :(

You need a router to have wireless. You can still use the Ethernet cable.

Then you will have to connect your Xbox directly to your modem. You will need a wired or wireless router if you want to share the internet connection with more than one device at a time.
