Xbox experts help now!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!?

Question

I have a xbox 360 slim with built in wi-fi. I don't know if i have a wireless connection. I have cox high speed internet. I dont have a laptop. I dont have a router i only have a Motorola surfboard modem. I tryed to connect the ethernet cable to the modem and the electricity went out hahahaah. PLEASE HELP!!!!! :(

Plug the Ethernet cable into your Xbox, and then plug the the other end into your modem, it ain't hard.

I think you need to buy wireless router, relies on the xbox's power.
