dont you know these guys risk their lives to deliver you food, run their cars down, tires gas mileage for 4.25 an hr and then people have enough nerve to have an order for 19.80 and give a 20 and say keep the change. if your to lazy to pick it up atleast tip the guys who bring it to you. the pizza places charge you a convenience fee but that DOES NOT go to the driver. id be careful not to tip they do keep tabs ya know.

thank you! i used to be a pizza deliverer in own car! and the tipping in some parts of houston was ridiculous. for those who don't tip, we know who you are. we keep tabs on those who don't tip, and even though we don't go spitting on your pizzas, we certainly take our sweet time delivering to without giving a damn! those who tip good always get top priority, simple as that!
I know this is an old post but are you serious?!?!? The couple people who feel it's not necessary to tip because of "obesity" or it came late?? Why don't you do everyone else in this country a favor and move to Canada. Just the same as a restaurant. If you are too cheap to leave a decent tip then make your own damn food. 9 times out of 10 it's in no way the drivers fault that your pizza is late or the order is wrong. These people are just trying to make ends meet. The drivers seldom make above minimum wage and the tips are part of their income. If you don't feel that they deserve a tip then drive yourself to the store and pick up your food yourself. It really blows my mind that there are people still who think it's okay not to tip someone for providing a service. I reiterate, if you can't afford to tip, you shouldn't order
We live in America. Obesity is what we've become known for. And we are in hard economic times right now, because of the recession and if we all went around tipping the people who deliver pizzas, our national debt would probably double. Long story short, people who can't get a job doing something more useful than giving you a pizza should aspire to find a job that pays more than 4.25 an hour. And everyone knows it's federal law that they must be paid at least minimum wage if they are unable to make up the difference in tips. Welcome to reality, tipping is a thing of the past (have you ever been to a country where it isn't customary to tip??)
I gave the pizza guy a tip only last night. Yeah, i said next time make it quicker dude! Lets hope he takes my tip and he gets here on time next time :-) ,
