Vodka: What is the benefit of keeping ...?

...it in the freezer? I love vodka (Skyy) so I want to be able to enjoy it to the max. I usually keep mine on the kitchen counter

Mostly taste, but it will make it last longer also since cold temperatures slow down the oxidation rate of ethanol. It will reduce the burn if you drink it strait.

It tastes better, simple as that.

I also prefer the oily texture it gets which means it can be drunk neat without a harsh burn
