He's my nephew and I just found out he might be doing cocaine. I really love him and he trusts and likes me a lot but I know if I ask him up front about it he'll clam up and probably will never talk to me.
I need to get him to understand that what he's doing is bad for him.
Any ideas?

Open up a conversation by telling him you love him and would like to know his views on some issues.Ask him about sex,school,friends,and then go to the topic of drugs.Don't preach,just let him know they aren't good for you and that he can talk to you if he knows someone with an addiction.Keep lines of communication open and watch for signs he needs to talk.Mostly be supportive no matter what happens.Good luck

He already knows it's bad for him. Tell him you really love him and that it hurts you to see him starting to ruin his life like cocaine use will do. Just let him know how you feel.
Also let him know that if he doesn't stop, you will tell his parents because you love him.
