Basically you meditate to know yourself, not to deal with the public.
It's good to meditate on the border between you and the world (the skin).
Vipassana Goenka style mainly meditates on the skin of the whole body
in part of their meditation.
After a long time of this kind of meditation it's good to dis-cover metta meditation.
If your concentration is high enough and your vipassana meditation's benefits clear,
you will SIMPLY SEE what metta does to you.
These are just all meditations for the self, apart from metta.
The new understandings will fill you with joy, if you persist with curiosity.
