Can you believe Belichick won AP Coach of the Year?

And Mike Tomlin didn't even get a vote?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it is based off regular season, not playoffs and in the regular season the Patriots were head and shoulders above everyone else.

It's kind of funny when both coaches that got their team to the Super Bowl don't get a vote. Especially since Tomlin went 3-1 his first four games without Roethlisberger, and half of McCarthy's team was on IR.

The Pats won 14 games with a bunch of first and second year starters, Tomlin is essentially on a team Bill Cowher built and Dick Lebeau continues to run.

They vote before the playoffs, so all the Pete Carrol arguments are invalid. Belichick deserved it. He traded away their best player (aside from Brady) and got a lot of heat for it, but it turned out he made a smart decision. He traded for a player in Deion Branch who everyone thought was too old, and that was a smart decision too.
