Im trying to find out if there is ANY way to be able to use the microphone through my xbox 360? could I buy the DSS from turtle beach and use it that way?

No, the DSS doesn't do anything for the microphone. The DSS is ONLY sound output. Consider upgrading to the PX21, which replaced the P21.
