Sharp AL1451 Printer/Copier Win 7 driver needed?

I have an old Sharp AL1451 Printer/Copier and Windows 7. It, or its ilk, are not supported by Windows since XP. Sharp has no drivers for it, and doesn't plan to support it.
Does anyone have a solution? I'd like to use it for more than a copier.

Windows 7 is 32 bit. I have the printer connected to a parallel port on a Dell Desktop. It worked with XP.
