What reading program would you recommend for babies?
My fiance and I are having a little one and we were talking about a proper reading program for our future child. What would you recommend and why? Thank you in advance.

Of course I'm going to spend time with my child. I'm a teacher, for God's sake! I was asking a simple question to get others' opinions, but if you're going to be a smart*** then don't bother answering. You're wasting your time. Thank you to anyone who can answer responsibly.

It's too bad a person can't ask a legitmate question in hopes of gauging what others think without all the 'better than thou's making snide remarks. All I was doing was putting a feeler out because we want to provide the best opportunities possible for our first child. Keep your stupid comments to yourself, please. For those of you with an open mind, thank you for your input.

It all depends on the child. My first one loved to listen to me read anything to her, my favorite was Dr. Suess because it was rhyming. She would bring me 10 books at a time to read to her. She was an avid reader as she grew up. Second child would not sit still for one page and when she was in school had a lot of trouble concentrating on reading. When they are small you just sit and read what you like to read to them, have them write the letters when they are old enough to hold a pencil. Do the same with your child as you were taught, it seems to have worked well...
If you are looking a highly effective way to simply help your youngster understand to read while preventing any potential traps along the way then this system https://tr.im/Tg5xQ is what you need. Children Learning Reading program is separate into two areas which are both delivered in split up eBook s. Having ordered the class you're given instant access to all the eBook s so you have the ability to utilize the program almost instantly after spending money on it. I think its great that you are wanting to raise a reader.... so its only natural to look at all your options. pay no mind the crass remarks. but most are right, the best thing you can do is hold them and look at pictures together, while you read. its never too young to start. over time you have a child highly interested in reading. My mother read me stories every night from as early as I can remember. I dont know if it was her doing that or if it is just me, but I LOVE to read. the learning programs on TV have been proven to be far less effective than you doing it. If you insist on doing it. sit there with her and explain what she is watching. which may seem pointless when they can not read or talk yet, but its far from pointless to describe things to them. they catch on eventually.
If you do decide to order it, make sure you actually use the website from the TV ad and not one you find on google-- I googled it and happened to run right into the scam website, and I thought it was legit for a minute. That being said, I would worry about it teaching more by memorization than by phoenetics, so I'm not sure if I would be comfortable using it. I wish I knew someone who had tried it, I'd love to know if it worked, too.
