It's not called an Igloo...it's called a ?
Hello,
Back in Grade 4, our class went on a fieldtrip and created something cool. It was not an igloo but it was made of purely snow. The goal was to stack and shovel tons of snow to make a mini hill. Then a team begins to dig a opening in the middle. It's suppose to be great for winter hikes if you have to camp outside in the winter. I was also told if you light one candle inside you can stay warm for the whole night.
The problem is...I cannot remember the name of it. I know it's NOT called an igloo very similar to a tent but made of purely snow and only one person can really sleep in it.
Does anyone know the name of it?
It's not a snowfort. It's not made out of blocks of snow. The snow is packed and piled high like a hill then you dig so you have an opening. It's extremely safe but I just can't remember the name of it.
