Has anyone ever been "roto rootered" in their sinuses?

If you have, why did you and did it help you? Was it worth it? I have a lot of sinus problems and have frequent sinus infections. I see an ENT in a couple of weeks. Does this surgery lesson your number of sinus infections? What are the pros and cons?

Only got a sinus infection once. The EN&T doctor had me sit under a UV lamp & melted the mucus away. I could hear cracking & popping noise in my head. Some antibiotics & I was good to go.
