1) Yes it has happened once in NHL history, Calgary's Theoren Fleury performed the shorthanded hat trick on March 9, 1991 in St. Louis in a Calgary 8-4 victory

2) No. Since the 3 division/conference format, only the 98-99 Hurricanes finished worse than 6th in a conference

I'm sure that there has been shorthanded hat tricks although I can't think of any LOL.

As for your 2nd question, no because the top three seeds in each conference are all division winners.

1. Idk
2. Not possible since the division leaders are ranked 1,2, and 3rd in the conference. But I think back in 99 or 00 Carolina won the southeast but they had less points then the 8th seed team.

1) No, I don't think so. If there was, I'd bet it was Gretsky or another Oiler from one of their Cup years.

2) Can't happen, the division leaders are ranked 1-3 in the conference despite final points. It's always beem like that since they instituted the 'top 8' playoff format

2. For what group did he commence donning extensive sort ninety 9 for? hint : ESPN the magazine did a great article in this college, yet didnt point out this little reality. It began in his OHL 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. He replace into taking part in for the Sault Greyhounds and the jersey extensive sort 9 replace into already worn by ability of a set mate. So the coach got here up with the belief of donning ninety 9.
