Rexall Place question?

So I noticed something with Rexall Place today when i was watching the flames game. The stadium seems to be backwards. Usually the logo faces the penalty box side, so it's backwards to spectators on the side with the player's benches. At rexall, it faces the benches, so its backwards to spectators on the penalty box side. Also, the camera is on the bench side, not the penalty box side. Is this something done for this season? Is it something unique about the Oilers? And also, are there any other arenas that do this?

Rexall place is very unique because it is the only arena in the NHL where the camera is on the same side as the benches. Why this is, I have no idea, but its a very old rink...

Sidenote: Great comeback flames!

Only Rexall Place has this unique camera view. All other arenas have their cameras on the penalty box side.

Awhile back in the old Boston Garden, both penalty boxes were on the same side as the Bruins' bench. This is more unusual than the Rexall Place configuration.

One of my favorite arenas in the NHL. Going to be sad to se the Oilers leave that arena. They should play there forever like the Cubs do at Wrigley Field. Just renovate the place.

Even though it's probably been modified and renovated the last few decades, it's still one of the oldest arenas in the NHL. Kind of cool I guess since it's the only arena in the league that does it.
