Does anyone else find Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam's positions ironic?
They preach hate against Caucasians and Jews because we were their "slave masters" and they support Islam and Libya. Ummm, wasnt it the muslims that controlled the slave trade and wasnt Libya a major exit point for slaves? Doesnt slavery exist TO THIS DAY in parts of africa and the muslim world? Werent there major black slave owners in the US? Are they also your brothers?

Farrakhan needs to do his history and realize his own people sold the black man to the buyers.
The 1st international conflict that the US had was actually against Muslim slavers and pirates who specifically targeted Europeans. The Barbary Corsairs as they were known back then, in fact its even in our USMC hymn the line "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli" is a reference to our victory against them. Which was pretty cool since we only had 8 marines and a few hundred mercenaries and they had over 4,000 strong.
Farrakhan like any political leader needs both an enemy (white people) and a common uniter (religion). All countries do this. If it's not religion then ideology becomes a makeshift religion with man-god leaders. If you want people to follow you, you have to separate them from the herd. Everyone does it, even Gandhi did it.
