The V1 doodlebug first jet?
the V1 (doodlebug) had a pulse jet as an engine, does this make it the first jet aircraft to fly?. Yes I know it was a bomb but it was an aircraft.

The jet powered German Heinkel he 178 first flew on 27 August 1939.
The V-1's first powered trial was on 10 December 1942.
