A question for gay people?

i just realized whenever i talk about gay people i call you "gays" or "the gays" moslty because homosexual is too many syllables...is that offensive? and dont use it in a derogatory way

i cant imagine you gays being easily offended

goes for lesbians too...anyone who's gay is gay to me...again is that offensive

rudy, you can call me the "straights" because i was talking about sexual orientation.... now if you want to bring up animals...dolphins have sex with the same sex...can i call you dolphins?

and i feel like saying "the gays" because in the sense of your sexuality...you are the same as other gays

and calling someone a homo sounds kind of mean...might just be my preconception though....so another part of the question i guess....is calling a gay person a homo offensive?

not being like "that guys a ****** homo" but saying "my sister is a homo"(which she is)

Depends what sentence its in. I find “the gays” worst then ‘gay’ because its like you are saying we are all the same. But its not the worst thing I have ever heard.

no, i dont find it offensive, i agree that its just the easiest one to say.

but you can understand if the person who talks means good or no, and some people use it in a really offensive way,.. it's in those cases that I feel offended...

No that's not offensive at all. We're gay. Call us gays. That's fine. No problem.

Well I'm bi, but you can call us 'homo's' and we won't be offended >w<

I'm not a gay, but I won't be offended if I were one :)
