How long can I marinate a tri-tip for?
So I'm thinking about doing a Beer marinade for tri-tip. Here's what I was thinking about adding to it so far.
Beer (A dark beer)
Lemon Juice
Fresh crushed garlic
Habanero
Olive oil
a little brown sugar
and either salt, or maybe soy sauce?
-- maybe a couple other things. The ingredients aren't set in stone yet... I just want to know how long I can marinate a tri-tip for. I was gonna go to the store tonight and marinate the beef overnight. I don't know if I should remove it from the marinade when I get up in the morning, or if it's safe to leave in until I get home from work tomorrow?
What about adding Horseradish instead of habanero. I love horseradish with steak.
