I'm using Yoshida's marinade to marinate tri-tip cubes for shish kabob on the grill----how long do I marinate?

Is it OK to let them marinate overnight?

Salt & Peppy is right. 4 hrs. is about right. On a side note, you can add in some nice chunks of fresh pineapple & white or red onion wedges to your shish kabobs. The flavors will compliment what you already have. Just a thought....

If you marinate them too long, it will break down the meat and it can become mushy. I wouldn't marinate it longer than 4 hours. The meat can only absorb so much of the flavor, and 4 hours is plenty of time.
