Credit card usage for frequent flyer miles...?
A long time ago, there was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show. She claimed that she paid all of her major expenses via credit cards in order to rack up F.F.Miles. By major expenses she explained mortgage, car payment & daughter's college tuition. Then, she would pay off the credit card each month from her checking acct. That part I get. The part I don't get is how does one put a mortgage payment & a car payment on a credit card. I have great credit and little to no outstanding debt. I'd like to examine this principle for my mortgage & car payment...my two largest bills. Is it possible and how?
2 AnswersCredit1 decade agoI am traveling to Italy for a workshop &vacation. I want to take along some small gifts. Any ideas?
I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I have some ideas (like key chains, bookmarks/postcards of San Francisco, regional candy like Sees Candies). What items to you think I could add to this list? Criteria: can't be fragile (don't want breakage), can be heavy and they must be easy to pack.

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoA question about "Longanisa" sausage...?
I do alot of cooking as a personal chef. I'm very familiar with various meat products. At a Mexican grocery store, I came across "longanisa". I used it in a recipe and it was very similar to the Mexican style "chorizo"..a spicy foremeat/sausage. However, the texture of the meat was a bit more coarse in the casing. What is the difference between the two? Could it be a takeoff of the Portuguese "Linguisa"? I know that the Hawaiians & Filipinos use a "longaniza" that has a sweet flavor and based on the Chinese style sausage known as "lop cheung".

It is a haunting solo piano piece with lots of minor chords. I really love it and want to know who composed it.

Owner #1 wants to sell or have Owner #2 to sign a "Quit Claim". However, Owner #2 doesn't want to sell OR sign the "Quit Claim"? What recourse/options does Owner #1 have? My friend is involved in this real estate situation. I ran out of advice.
4 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoGuitar pros-I have a question for you...?
So, I am interested in purchasing a G&L Comanche guitar. I've always liked them, their feel & sound. I recognize that G&L is technically a Fender since it was Leo Fender's last company before he passed away. My question is this...what did he create & or modify within G&L that he couldn't with Fender. The ASAT & other models are Strats & Teles but what other differences are there. The Comanche guitar is priced much higher $1200 range retail (might be marked up quite a bit here) than the average American made strat $700-800). If anyone can provide me with any info. I'd appreciate it. -Karen
4 AnswersMusic1 decade agoRegarding the HP "pretexting" scandal...?
Ok, so I get that the HP management team is in legal hot water but what happens to the "former" HP board members that made the leaks to the media. They gave away proprietary information. Isn't there a legal ruling against that? I think they should be held just as accountable.
