What guitar effects were used to get the sound of the lead guitar parts to Green Days-Blvd. of Broken Dreams|?

I'm guessing, chorus pedal, tremelo, compression & distortion?

    It sounds like a little bit of simple reverb,or just stupid studio trickery.
