How many miles should I run per week for XC?
I've been building a base for the past 3 weeks, consisting of core workouts 5 days a week and running 2-3x a week. I average about 3-5mi per run...so around 11-14mi per week. I train on the elliptical for the days I dont run.
I have a 4 day long distance running camp in 5 weeks and I want to be in shape for it. We run 2x a day.
How many miles should I be running a week to get me in long distance shape? I don't need to be in full on 5K racing shape yet, but definitely in good shape.
*I'm a girl. Previous PR for 5K last fall was 23:21...while running with a stess fracture.
