Do post-op MtoF's often and/or generally develop the same tastes in men and relationship styles as breeder GGs?

I've had 2 MtoF's that I love dearly flake away from me (hopefully temporary insanity) to date rather conventional type men. I find that disappointing given our shared esoteric interests. They both had SRS 12 to 18 months ago. Is that time span a factor?
