So I just pierced my ear...?

Okay, so I pierced my ear (as a second piercing) A few days ago, I used a sterilized needle, and put in a cleaned stud (real gold) That I got when I got my cartilage pierced a while ago. I was just wondering a few things... I use the ear cleaning stuff I got when I went to get my cartilage done by a pro, so I think I'm good for that, I use it two-three times a day. By the way, my mom does not know about this... Anyways, I want to know how to properly take care of it, because it hurts and it's like I feel it thumping (?) It's not swollen, there is no gross discharge, I'm taking really good care of it, I just want to make sure how long I have to leave it in, and how to get rid of this pain a bit... Thanks :) And if you can give me any more information, that'd be great :)
I am fourteen by the way, and I have been thinking of doing this for a long time, and I was well prepared and cleaned everything I needed to use..

Basically all you can do is just continue with what you're doing. Continue cleaning it, and being careful. The pain is normal, just don't play around with it too much, and it should go down a bit. It doesn't sound like it could be infected, or anything, so just keep up with the cleaning, and everything should be all good. Leave in the stud for at least 2 weeks, but I'd recommend waiting for over a month before you change it out. Good luck. :]

THE PAIN AND SWELLING IS PROBABLY JUST BEAUSE ITS NEW. YOU COULD WASH YOUR PEIRCING WITH WARM WATER AND LIQUID SOAP. YOU CAN ROTATE THE JEWELRY BUT THATS NOT NECESSARY.IF IT ITCHES YOU CAN ADD RUBBING ALCOHOL BUT IF NOT JUST PUT SOME ANTIBACTERIAL CREAM ON AND ADD A BAND AD .
