That it is a hilarious production I cannot wait to see. People need to chill about this, seriously. A good LOL is good for the soul. I love the church but I honestly don't believe in it as much as I did before but even if I did, I would find no offense in it.

I wrote an article on that when I was in school in Utah (Mormonland) and ugh, defended it like 104%.

Why do people seem to think that musical is Mormon propaganda? Its a parody and social commentary written by the creators of South Park. The Mormons have absolutely zero to do with it. Also its one of the most completely profane, hysterical things I've ever seen. Filthy. And a whole lot of fun.

OK, true story, and it's ongoing right now. My friend is an assistant marching band teacher. The director chose a show for this year: the music of Jesus Christ Superstar. It's a rockin show, and would make a really fun marching show. The parents have refused to allow their children to play the music, which of course would impact the students' grades severely. The seniors whose parents won't allow them to play will miss out on their entire final year of marching band. The director was trying to decide whether or not to change the music (which is a huge deal at this point, since drill should be written by now). My friend says they should stand their ground or else be forced to ask permission for each song each year. True story.

Have not seen the Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon". As a history buff...and it includes the trip out west...I would find it interesting. I bet our Princess would have an opinion on this subject.

I'm not a Mormon, but I heard it was funny. Of course, it makes fun of all religions. That's why I won't bother seeing it. I get enough of that for free, on TV, Movies, books, the news and people who talk to me at work. Of course, I'm not allowed to talk about my faith, but they can, as long as it isn't christianity.
