I've been honestly wondering about those people you see on those shows about morbidly obese people who are so big they can't get out of bed, and it takes a bunch of people to get them out of the house...I've always wondered, if they can't get up without deeply involved assistance, how do they go to the bathroom?

That's why they have people who assist them. They have to have help to get to the bathroom and most of the time they probably have a bathroom right next to their bed or a commode that someone has to empty. But I suspect they have to go to extremes on the show if for nothing else, to make people wonder and feel sorry for them...

They might wear a cloth diaper of some sort or have a bowl nearby to do their #1 and #2 in.
