I know they used some movie references in this film such as the Star Trek quote. When the soldiers are given explosives to use against the Decepticons, they are told the invention is called "boom stick". Is this an Evil Dead reference? Best answer will be given to anyone that has a credible source.

Its an Army of Darkness reference. They also gave a nod to Highlander when Sentinel Prime raised his sword and said "Don't you know there can be only one"

I thought I picked up a Terminator reference (skull in street) and the Star Trek 'Needs Of The Many Outweigh The Needs of the few' line by Sentinel Prime.
Also at a stretch... Mad Max stylings of Megatron and was that a Predator looking Decepticon early on? ('you punk decepticons')
